5. Realistic in your work.
Think about real needs instead of fame. Looking cool is fine but that will not sell your garments & feel your tommy. Designers are especially needed for people with real, imperfect bodies that still want to look their best. having a snob attitude will blind you from making money. Reality is; you don't design for yourself, but you design for others.See the source image

6.Portfolio work.

Portfolio will be vital when applying to design job &  internship. It displays your best work, highlight's your skills & creativity. Use a high-quality binder to show that you take yourself seriously as a designer. The following should be included in your portfolio:

1. Hand-drawn sketches/photographs of these sketches.
2.Computer-drawn design.
3.Resume.
4.Mood/concept pages.
5.Colour or textile presentation pages.
6.Any other pieces that fairly reflect what you're capable of doing & evolving into.

3. Knowing your strength & overcoming your weakness.

Think upon what is your strength & your weakness whether you are master in Garment designing or casual designing, etc. On the other hand think about weakness too. If your not good in colour combination, than make sure you get practices upon it & master over it, if you not it will lead you lose in your career. Second part is marketing, to what the market wants. which in fashion is part convincing the market & part noticing what the market is demanding.

Challenging is when you need to have a excellent communication skills, a willingness to work very hard (i.e 24x7), a tough time is when criticized, an ability to cope with stress, openness to having many different clients or bosses. You should be prepared to uncertainty or insecurity, willing to stand up for what you believes in, you know the Fashion Industry inside out & you live, eat & breath Fashion.
